Cookies & Browser Storage

Cookies and similar technologies can store information on your device. Our current storefront uses checkout-related storage and payment/security services, not advertising pixels or optional website analytics.

Your saved checkout selection

When you begin checkout, the website may save your scents, size, quantity, delivery country and associated checkout reference under adroit.checkout.v1 in session storage. This helps restore the selection if you leave Checkout without paying. It does not contain your card details, email or full delivery address.

The draft is limited to the browser tab/session. The website ignores a saved draft after 24 hours and clears the matching draft after a verified successful checkout. Your browser normally removes session storage when the tab/session ends; browser session-restoration settings can affect this. The cancellation link also carries the selection, so blocking storage does not by itself prevent restoring it.

Stripe payment and fraud prevention

Stripe.js loads when you choose Buy or Checkout, rather than on ordinary storefront page visits. Stripe then provides hosted payment collection and security/fraud checks. Its technologies can include cookies such as __stripe_mid, __stripe_sid and m, and device/browser signals. The particular technologies and lifetimes depend on Stripe's service and your browser.

Stripe publishes its current cookie purposes, lifetimes and applicable choices in its Cookie Policy and cookie settings. Its Stripe.js privacy explanation describes payment fraud signals. Stripe-hosted Checkout is a separate service with its own notices and controls.

Optional tracking and consent

We have not installed optional analytics, advertising or social-media tracking scripts. Sharing icons are links that open the chosen service only when you use them, not embedded social feeds. There are currently no optional tracking preferences to accept or withdraw on this storefront, so we do not display an accept-all cookie banner. Any future non-essential tracking would need the applicable information, choices and consent or other valid exception before activation.

Your browser controls

You can clear or block cookies and site storage using your browser's privacy settings. Blocking checkout/security technologies can affect payments; blocking the saved-selection draft may mean choosing your products again. Clearing storage does not cancel a paid order or delete Stripe's transaction records.
